Battlestar Galactica coming back???

Test Pattern is saying that Variety broke a story early this morning that Brian Singer (X-Men) has signed up to exec produce a new Battlestar Galactica TV series for Studios USA. The interesting part is both series creator Gary Larson and star Richard Hatch have been trying to put forth their respective versions of a new show for a couple of years, and no mention is made as to which version, if either, this will be…

Update 2/27: There is an open letter from Richard Hatch on his web site regarding the Singer/DeSanto version.
The article does state that Larson will be involved, but not in what capacity. Apparently an attempt was made to get the two together on a project, but there is no word whether that was accomplished, or if Hatch has anything to do with this version.
