Babylon 5 stuff for charity

The Into the Fires Auction has a number of items signed by Babylon 5 actors (and a few others such as Virginia Hey of Farscape up for auction to support a number of charities, including Pat Tallman’s Penny Lane. Items include March of Dimes beanies and cartoons from Tye Bourdony of The Lighter Side of Sci-Fi.
Children of Dune given the green light

The Sci Fi Channel has given the green light to begin production on the sequel to last December’s Dune miniseries, entitled Children of Dune. It actually encompasses both the second (Dune Messiah) and third (Children of Dune) books in the Dune series by Frank Herbert. It is set to air in 2003.
