Not one, but TWO Star Wars TV shows

George Lucas made an appearance at Celebration III this weekend in Indianapolis – and dropped a bombshell of sorts. Two TV series are in the works – a 3D animated half-hour show (report say it will be a remake of the Clone Wars animated shorts) and a live-action series set between Episodes III and IV, which will feature some characters we’ve seen (but not the main characters).
Land of the Lost movie – with Will Ferrell

I thought it was a joke, but it’s hitting the main sites. Will Ferrell (Anchorman) has agreed to star in a feature film remake of Land of the Lost. Universal acquired the rights from Sid and Marty Krofft, and it will supposedly be based on the original, not the 1991 pseudo-remake. So, Marshall Willenholly (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back) will apparently will at least be part of what inspired that name…and I think my sister’s worst nightmare is coming back to haunt her (I seldom got to watch it because it scared her…) The Season 3 DVD set of the original hits tomorrow.
