Firefly episodes to air on SCI FI

Here’s something not Stargate related, although I KNOW I heard this a couple of weeks ago and could have sworn I posted it – SCI FI Channel will air all 14 episodes of Firefly – including the three never-aired episodes, and in the intended order – starting July 22nd in the 7pm time slot, prior to Stargate SG-1 – bah, so its still related š

More people have a chance to discover the excellence that is Firefly – lets hope they don’t act as … unwisely as Fox and show the pilot LAST *grr*

Interesting rumor out there, too.
Supposedly Fox does not sell rebroadcast rights to its TV shows. (in which case, what’s with TBS and adult swim rebroadcasting the animated shows?). So, the rumor goes, SciFi may have bought all the rights to the Firefly TV show, which would include the ability to make new episodes. Anyone have anything about this?
