Piper to quit Who?

The Daily Mirror is reporting an exclusive that Billie Piper is quitting the Tardis to avoid being typecast, and will leave during the third series. The BBC is not commenting – wonder if that means its true… đŸ™‚

Not news at all…
This had been reported during the first series. She’d be there for at least part of the 2nd(or 28th, if you’re a Dr Who nerd :), then leave. Honestly, I’ll miss her. She and Eccleston did a great job. I hope that whomever her successor is does half as good a job.
OT: found some Billy Piper music videos. That’s truly scary. I can see why the Brits were so hesitant about her – imagine if they’d cast Britney Spears as the Doctor’s assistant. But it all worked out well in the end.
