    Are you kidding me?

    So….
You have to be a major marketing franchise in order to be considered for this?

Nope – you have to also be a movie franchise.

I wouldn’t vote for one of those games. All the star wars games were a waste of money, half-finished boring crap that promised a lot and delivered little real game play.

Many were, but Star Wars: Empire at War was pretty good. And there have been some really excellent Star Wars themed games over the years — Tie Fighter, Knights of the Old Republic, Dark Forces 2 …

(But I’m not sure if you’re just talking about what’s on their list, or Star Wars games in general.)

But yeah, the fact that their list is 100% major movie themed games really blows. What happened to HL2 ep1? Rise of Legends? Oblivion? I’ve played these recently, and they were quite good. Alas, I haven’t had the time to play games I used to, so I haven’t really kept up on what new games are out, but I’m sure there’s more good ones. Why would they want to restrict it to games based on movies?
