Babylon 5: The Lost Tales available for pre-order now!

The (hopefully) first volume of Bablyon 5: The Lost Tales will be released on July 31st – and is now available for pre-orders from Amazon at $16.99 (price subject to change, but if it goes lower before release you’ll get the lower price). Raimi confirms talks about The Hobbit

After reports surfaced that Sam Raimi (Spider-Man 3) had been talking with New Line Cinema about taking the reins of The Hobbit, he confirmed with SCI FI Wire that he talked with studio head Robert Shaye about it, but it was only one conversation. He also confirmed that he would only sign for the film if it was OK with Peter Jackson, who is involved in a lawsuit against New Line.

SCI FI confirms Who Series 3 in July

The SCI FI Channel has confirmed that it has picked up Series 3 of Doctor Who to be aired starting in July. This means a U.S. DVD release would be likely in October. The 4th episode of the series, “Daleks in Manhattan”, aired in the U.K. this past weekend.
