Rama close to production

It’s been a long time coming, and we’ve been reporting on it for years, but Morgan Freeman says that Rendezvous With Rama closer than ever to going in to production. More formal production is hoped to start next year, although Freeman says they are still working on the script.

What he is really meaning is
they haven’t finished the script – and currely nobody is writing on it – but once the strike ends (years from now) they will continue *g*
I wonder if it will be good, or just the usually Hollywood trash of a scifi book.
