Knight Rider gets picked up, show runner

As expected, the continuation of Knight Rider has been picked up by NBC, and a show runner has been named. Gary Scott Thompson, creator/producer of Las Vegas, will executive produce and run the production under a two-year deal with United Media Studios.

I would have picked someone better known, like JMS, who at various times has been involved in talks about being a show runner for unnamed shows.
