In this Friday’s all-new Merlin, Arthur is seated at his desk and Elyan enters and begins attacking the King though he quickly escapes after Arthur calls for his guards. Merlin explains that Elyan may have been possessed by the spirits at the shrine that the knights stumbled across earlier that day.
