Wondering what’s going to happen in Season 4 of Being Human? Watch this quick First Look…and I can say it starts off running…literally. And what’s a spa between supernatural enemies?
Next Sunday and Monday, we’ll be reporting from the 7th Annual Syfy Press Tour…like last year, we will be visiting the sets of a couple of Syfy TV series, but not in Toronto – this year, we will be in Montreal, visiting the sets of Being Human and the upcoming Ron Moore show Helix!
Sunday night I’ll be occasionally tweeting some pics when possible from dinner, which will (as planned) include some of the stars of Defiance (Stephanie Leonidas, Jesse Rath, and Trenna Keating), Haven (Lucas Bryant, Eric Balfour, Adam “The Edge” Copeland), Ghost Hunters (Jason Hawes, Amy Bruni, Adam Berry), and director of Sharknado and Sharknado 2: The Second One, Anthony Ferrante. And who knows who else may drop by…
On Monday, we will visit the sets, but the schedule is still being worked out. But be sure to follow along on Twitter as well as here as we usually run some social media sharing with our fellow press members…
Even though I didn’t make it to Comic-Con (again ), I do have some videos excerpts of the panels. Some are a bit hard to here though…
First up is the Being Human panel…the show will return in January, and here is a synopsis of where it stands:
At the end of Season Three, after one hell of a honeymoon, Josh and Nora return home only to be attacked by Aidan’s son, Kenny. With tensions high at home, Aidan lets Kenny loose in the woods, as he can’t bring himself to kill his son like the rest of the abominations were. With his son freed, and his girlfriend Kat compelled into blissful ignorance, Aidan feels relief. Unbeknownst to him, however, a familiar face has also appeared in town—one that strongly resembles his long-dead wife.
Meanwhile, Josh grew fonder of his wolf, so much so that after the last full moon, Nora returns to human form only to find that Josh has been left a wolf—one that attacks her! Sally is now a ghost again after seemingly defeating the witch, Donna. But the witch won’t let that stand—so she drags Sally into a cavernous hole destroying her death spot.
Check out the four videos below from the funny panel, featuring Executive Producer Anna Fricke, Kristen Hager, Sam Huntington, Meaghan Rath & Sam Witwer.
Here are five sizzle reels direct from Comic-Con for the Syfy series Haven, Warehouse 13, Defiance, Being Human and Helix!
BBC Cymru Wales announced that Brian Minchin will join Steven Moffat as Executive Producer on Doctor Who, replacing the departing Caroline Skinner.
Minchin is certainly no stranger to Moffat’s predecessor, Russell R. Davies (or the Who universe) – he’s worked with Davies on the recent Wizards vs. Alien as well as The Sarah Jane Adventures, Torchwood: Children of Earth and Torchwood: Miracle Day, and also previously worked as as script editor on Doctor Who. He’s also worked with Toby Whithouse (who has also written for Doctor Who and Torchwood) on the UK Being Human and the upcoming The Game.
Another announcement from the upfronts – and there may be more as the night goes on (assuming I last long enough): Being Human has been renewed for a fourth season, which is a good thing, considering how Season 3 ended
Next monday marks the season finale for Being Human – While Aidan deals with Kenny, Liam pops up on Josh & Nora. A blast from the past surprises everyone. And, Sally faces off with Donna again. Tune in Monday at 9/8c on Syfy!
Plus check out Sam Witwer’s and Kristen Hager’s thoughts on the wedding between Josh and Nora from last week…
I didn’t get my usual email from Aidan this week, but it looks like he’s a bit troubled with the situation with Kenny after his encounter last week, while Sally is dreading her own fate and Josh thinks about his wedding to Nora and the loss of his last tie to who he used to be…
Our latest message from Aidan:
Looks like I have a lot for you today. First, check out the sneak peek into Monday evening. If you continue to tweet #BeingHumanSyfy, like or share posts on Facebook, maybe you can unlock the first four minutes of the episode before Monday.
I also have a bunch of interviews for you with folks who look a lot like Josh, Sally & me.
So check out the preview for “If I Only Had Raw Brain”, which airs Monday at 9/8c on Syfy, and those interviews, and don’t forget to get the word out! And a special bonus – BLOOPERS from Episode 10!
Another message from Aidan:
I hope your week went well. I’m doing better; and, I’m so happy that Nora & I have made peace. It was getting a little hairy for awhile there (no wolf-pun intended).
Sally’s… condition is a bit worrisome, but it’s better than the alternative. Maybe she can control her urges?
In any case, you can take a look into Monday night with the sneak peek below. You’ll also find clips from last week & an interview with Sally. Remember, like, share or tweet to @BeingHumanSyfy to unlock the first four minutes of the episode early.
Check out the preview for “Those About To Rot”, which airs Monday at 9/8c on Syfy, and also check out the first four minutes of the episode, plus a clip with Meaghan Rath explaining Sally’s “condition”…
