Here is an exclusive sneak peek at next week’s Caprica episode, “Things We Lock Away”, featuring Lacy (Magda Apanowicz) and Sister Clarice (Polly Walker) debating the Sister’s morality, and determine if Zoe had a backup of her resurrection program, and if so, where it is.

SyFy announced today that their original series Haven, which concludes it’s first season tomorrow, has been renewed for a 13-episode second season, which is expected to air next summer, and all three stars (Emily Rose, Lucas Bryant, and Eric Balfour) will return.
To tide you over for a few minutes at least, here are a couple of previews for Caprica‘s season premiere and one for Stargate Universe…
Just a reminder that the second half of the first season of Caprica makes its early return tomorrow night (October 5th) on SyFy – and the DVDs of the first half come out the same day. And if you need a quick (and funny) recap, don’t forget to check out Re-Cap(rica). And also catch a clip from the DVD bonus features below.
Can’t wait for the return of Caprica in a couple weeks? At least it isn’t next year instead – but in the meantime, here are a couple sneak peeks to whet your appetite.
Need to get caught up with Caprica before the second half of the season begins? Liked the fun Battlestar Galactica recap videos like “What the frak?” Well then, catch up with “Re-Cap(rica)”:
Can’t wait for the return of Caprica, even though it has been moved up several months? Well, here are a few videos that might tide you over. Then again, it might make you more desperate… 🙂
Heads up – SyFy has shifted the return of Caprica up several months, and the second half of Season 1 now returns on October 5th. I have also updated the Event Calendar to include several season debuts, in case you were wondering when each will start up again. I suppose this means the “second half of Season 1” makes more sense when it isn’t shown a full year later than the first half…
A little more news coming out of Comic-Con: Caprica will return in January for the second half of its freshman season (is it really still the same season if it airs a year after the first half?) and Ronald D. Moore is confident that with the plot picking up we will see a second season; and in Stargate Universe‘s second season, we can expect to see Dr. Rush (Robert Carlyle) return to his self-deterministic ways when he discovered the bridge of the Destiny; Eli get a new love interest and also visit his grandmother (in Carlyle’s directorial debut), and the discovery of a larger overall mission for the residents of the Destiny. Also interesting was a discussion about the unique shooting style, with multiple hidden cameras on set.
It looks like the airing of the pilot movie of Caprica on SyFy didn’t do so well, only getting 1.6 million viewers. The article does point out (and I believe rightly so) that the DVD release 9 months ago may have had an impact…but if you have been waiting for the series, the first new episode airs this Friday.
