Well, it took over a month, but one of the supposed launch titles, Babylon 5, is finally available on Hulu.com. Included right now are all of the first season episodes, plus if I remember correctly (I'm too lazy to drag out the DVD) is the original version of "The Gathering", not the Special Edition version.

N.E. Lilly writes "Just a brief note to announce SpaceWesterns.com's first full year of publication.
The new year of SpaceWesterns.com brings: a creative refresh of the home page, the launch of our blog (The Sideshow), and the creation of a (nearly) complete Space Western list.
All that in addition to the publication of Space Western stories and articles. This week we've published "Craphound" by Cory Doctorow, and part 1 of an 8 part serial "A Man Called Mister Brown" by A.R. Yngve. Next week we have an interview with David Weddle, screenwriter for Battlestar Galactica.

The upcoming miniseries remake of The Andromeda Strain, which won't air for another month on TV, is following suit with some other recent issues and set a release date for the DVD already: June 3rd, 2008. The miniseries stars Benjamin Bratt as Dr. Jeremy Stone, and is executive produced by Ridley and Tony Scott. Read More for the complete press release, and check out the official site.

Sci-Fi Maverick writes "This is a sci-fi directory which also includes some fantasy and horror websites. Its called PsiProne's Sci-Fi Portal . Its been around since 2001, while it experienced some difficulties for a couple years, its been back in business since September 2007. It has a listing of over 1400 websites and is one of the largest sci-fi directories on the web. Its has a sidebar with a list of various websites, and the main part of the main page has a large list of categories. The categories can be confusing, but the first one is a general science fiction category, followed by a some categories for popular tv series in alphabetical order. If you click on a series name, you will go to a page with subtopics for that TV series. The last TV category is a broad category called More SciFi TV with subcats for other TV shows, the next categories are movies listed in alphabetical order. Some of the categories include Babylon 5, Farscape, General Science Fiction, Buffy, and BattleStar Galactica to name a few! In addition, every website listed has a spot where you can rate the website. Check out this site! Add your website to the directory!" Thanks to whoever rated Sci-Fi Storm a 10!

Got a hankering for some of the classic, campy sci-fi of the 70s, or other shows of the era? Check out NBC.com's Way Back Wednesdays, and catch episodes of Buck Rogers and Battlestar Galactica, along with other classics like The A-Team, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, Miami Vice, Night Gallery (which frightened the bejesus out of me as a young kid on a sleepless night), and a personal fave, Emergency! NBC Universal sister sites SCIFI.com, CHILLERTV.com, SLEUTHCHANNEL.com are also taking part with some additional series, such as TekWar, Kojak, and more...Read More for the press release with all the series.
