Encyclopedia of Known Space in beta
by Doc on Aug.23, 2001, under General News
I have decided to let the public view an early edition of my next project, The Encyclopedia of Known Space, based on the universe of Larry Niven. It is very incomplete – I’m going through story my story, and thus far have only incorporated one collection and working on the second. No Apes sequel for Burton
by Doc on Aug.17, 2001, under Movies
According to an interview in the British newspaper Independent (and captured through Sci Fi Wire), Burton would rather “…jump out a window, I swear to God,” than make a sequel to the monkey-money Planet of the Apes. Seems he isn’t keen on the studio managment system…

In a story at Cinescape Online, JMS stated that he’s turned in the fourth draft of the Rising Stars screenplay, adapted from the first 8 issues of his comic book series. MGM in a press conference stated that it is on the slate for 2002.
Oh, and the trade version of the first 8 issues is available at Amazon.com.

Set 3 are also available. I’ll be putting together a “Cult TV” DVD store when I get a chance…
