Will you be Taken?

A friendly reminder – Steven Spielberg’s 20-hour miniseries Taken, a story that follows several generations of families that revolve around alien abductions, premieres tonight at 9pm on the SCI FI Channel.

Taken? No thanks…
Perhaps it is just me, but I find the whole alien abduction premise well, boring.
I’m somewhat disappointed that Mr. Spielberg wasted his time on this one, but he did grow up during a time period where this was a ‘issue’ so I guess it was to be expected.
It does make me glad that I don’t have the Dish satellite installed until the end of the month so I can miss it all.

I thought so too, but now with I’m giddy like a school girl waiting for the last 2 episodes! So far, very well done – and quite a refreshing after all the stale ‘scifi’ that has been around lately.
Although I’m still a little confused about the first few episodes, it looked like the same actress was playing many different people. Perhaps it’s just the 40’s and 50’s garb that threw me. I suppose I’ll have to catch it again this weekend!
