Christopher Eccleston named ninth Doctor Who

Christopher Eccleston, who has previously starred in The Others and 28 Days Later, has been named as the Doctor for the upcoming 13-part BBC revival of Doctor Who.

    Meanwhile…

    … I see that Michael Grade has recently been named the new chairman of the BBC. For those who don’t know, Grade was responsible for killing Dr. Who when he was director of programming back in the late eighties / early nineties (?), and has publically professed a hatred of the show.

    I wonder how long it’ll last this time…?
