“Much more dark” Star Wars could be PG-13

by on Mar.11, 2005, under Movies

Due to the more mature theming of the upcoming Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, it could be the only movie in the franchise to be rated PG-13. George Lucas says he expects the rating, because it “is much more dark…more emotional. It’s much more of a tragedy,” with Anakin Skywalker decending into Lucas’ version of hell – complete with lava.

i don’t care if it is rated XXX…

as long as he hasn’t forgotten to include 1) a plot and 2) characters that i actually care about (as opposed to episodes iv, v and vi). very little of i and ii was memorable and jarjar was downright forgettable.

worse yet they reeked of bluescreening in a way that a movie of it’s calibre, when considering the people and money involved shouldn’t appear to be.

let’s hope some sort of miracle happened that has will redeem lucas. he’s only got one shot. ooh, wait, it’s lucas, stupid me! his grandchildren will be reediting this series when i’m sitting in an old folks home…

with all the hype abounding about the trailer, it never ceases to amaze me how quickly people have forgotten how bad the first 2 were… from what I’ve seen, Hayden still can’t act…GL still can’t direct

lucas is a great idea man, but not a great movie maker… and yet the fools start drooling over this tripe when there are so many movies coming out that people should be getting excited over…

Not bothering to create an account but you can refer to me as Elder Statesman Irmc….

Anyways, I think you’re a goddamned moron, for no other reason than claiming the movies had obvious blue screen effects. They used a green screen. Takes less away from skin tones. Of course, it can also cause more problems, as evidenced in The Fellowship of the Ring. Check out the Balrog scene as the fellowship is fleeing across the bridge…
