“Star Flops” article at Forbes.com

A writer at Forbes.com made me aware of an article on when Lucas creates a stinker: Every farm boy can’t be a Jedi, and every Star Wars creation can’t be a winner. With just a few days left before the big premiere of the last chapter in George Lucas?s opus, Forbes.com takes a trip into the recesses of a galaxy far far away to find the things that failed. Not all the movies have been masterpieces of modern cinema, but compared with 1978’s “Star Wars Holiday Special? –which features an off-key Carrie Fisher singing to a band of cloaked Wookies– well, they?re practically Citizen Kane. (And yes, we have video of the special!)

I’ve got that as well… on DVD
It is from a VHS copy, but it is very… entertaining. I downloaded it from Bittorrent a few months ago – it is the entire holiday special.
Everybody wants to see it… once. Only once though, for some reason.
