A new trailer has gone up at the official Serenity web site. It’s looking pretty good. Time to catch up with the repeats on the SCI FI Channel.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
The SciFi Zone Radio Show Announces Updated Time Slot
Orlando, FL (July 26, 2005) ? The SciFi Zone Radio Show will be reformatting to a one hour show with a time slot of Saturday 11pm to midnight in Orlando, FL (EST), 10pm to 11pm in Kansas City, MO (CST) and Sunday 11pm to midnight in Tampa, FL (EST) beginning Saturday, August 6th .
?This is a good thing,? commented John Fuld, Executive Producer of the show. ?When we started to syndicate, we thought we had to have a two hour format down.? However, after consulting with their syndication company, Radio Linx, The SciFi Zone learned more stations are able to pick them up with a one hour format. ?Sometimes you have to take a step back before moving forward,? says the show?s producer, Frank Dowler.
Apparently, that?s proving to be true with at least three new markets interested in the show with their new format.

Star Trek: Enterprise Season 2 comes out tomorrow, giving the fans more of what they crave now that its off the air. How does it fare? Read More to find out.
James Doohan, best known for the roll of Lieutenant Commander Montgomery Scott – or Scotty – passed away this morning at his home after battling Alzheimer’s and pneumonia. He was 85. He will be missed by fans – I shook hands with him while waiting outside for a convention to open – he actually came down and greeted everyone in line.
The Season 2 DVD Set of Star Trek: Enterprise is due out next Tuesday, and to celebrate StarTrek.com will be hosting viewing parties: On August 3rd, for episode “A Night in Sickbay”, and August 17th with “Cogenitor”. Both will happen twice, at noon and 6PM PST (3PM and 9PM Eastern).
Battlestar Galactica co-creator and exec producer David Eick have some details on somthing Ronald D. Moore revealed at ComicCon: that the Battlestar Pegasus will make an appearance in the new show. For those that remember the original, the Pegasus under the command of the “Living Legend” Commander Cain appeared and helped destroy a Base Star. The story line will likely be different in a number of respects, as it kicks of a complex arc and will probably be in several episodes.
A couple of updates to some movies we’ve been following: Logan’s Run is still in the sights of Joel Silver and Bryan Singer, and they are looking to start shooting as soon as Singer is done with Superman, with an eye towards filming in Berlin; and director Andrew Adamson announced at ComicCon that Liam Neeson will replace Brian Cox as the voice of Aslan in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
I probably don’t even need to post this, and would have posted earlier (stupid job getting in the way, but tonight is probably the biggest single night in SCI FI Channel’s history, with three of their biggest success premiering new seasons tonight. Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and Battlestar Galactica all premiere tonight, starting at 8PM ET. I may have BOTH TiVos record (which are on UPSs), just in case…Update 7/19: SCI FI should be pleased – the returns are in, and its good – SG-1 scored 2.1, Atlantis 2.2, and Galactica did its best ever, with a 2.6 rating.
