“Our 1st Outside Broadcast
Just 1 week after the commencement of Area 51 Radio Station comes our first Outside Broadcast. Sponsored by the London Expo, the broadcasts will be on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 October from the place where it happens – the Excel Centre in Royal Victoria Docks, London E16.
Last time’s London Expo Movie Event was attended by no less than 20.000 people, and this time round, Area 51 Radio Station’s very own presenters are to broadcast right from the heart of it.
Saturday
The excitement begins at midday on Saturday when Graham chats to the audience and plays the best in music live on stage from the middle of the vast London Excel Centre.
While Stuart holds a microphone close to the stars’ lips to hear their thoughts, Kieran wanders amongst the crowd, to capture the excitement of being there for the benefit of our listeners.
Sunday
Area 51 Radio Station uses British time, which from 01.00 on this Sunday morning reverts to UTC for the winter. UK residents, therefore get an extra hour till the fun returns on Sunday at 12 noon when Geoff takes to the stage. Join him for ‘The Game’. He’ll be asking which stars from his list act like space aliens. It’s bound to bring a smile to your face. There are plenty of prizes for the listeners who e-mail with the correct answer first.
The presenting team of Area 51 Radio Station will also give you an afternoon of great music and chat from the London Expo movie event.
