SCI FI Channel announced today, the debut of original webisodes for its hit
television series Eureka. All of the Channel’s original video programming
premieres on SCI FI Pulse the network’s new broadband channel
scifi.com/pulse.

Branching off from the plot lines of SCI FI’s hit dramedy, the Eureka
webisodes follow an investigation into a mysterious beast believed to have
attacked two local teenagers. When a video of the events leading up to the
attack turns up on the Internet, Eureka’s Sheriff, Jack Carter (Colin
Ferguson) and biological containment specialist Jim Taggart (Matt Frewer)
get on the case to track the beast down. Carter’s daughter, Zoe (Jordan
Hinson) also plays an active role in solving the mystery.

Viewers can catch the webisode prequel (“Webisode 0”) on youtube.com. In
“Webisode 0,” two overly hormonal teenage boys are attacked by a
Bigfoot-like creature while spying on local hottie, Deputy Sheriff Jo Lupo
(Erica Cerra). Viewers can follow the rest of the mystery on
SCI FI Pulse in seven two-minute webisodes, a “must
see” for any series fan.

“The webisodes feature Eureka’s favorite characters as they attempt to solve
the what or who done it in their town,” says Craig Engler, Senior VP of
Scifi.com and SCI FI Magazine. “Furthermore it provides an opportunity for
new viewers to sample some elements of the series.”

The first Eureka webisode debuted on SCI FI Pulse on July 25, and new
installments will premiere online every Tuesday throughout the summer. The
entire Eureka webisode series will also be available for continuous viewing
after the mystery is solved. If you missed the network premiere of Eureka,
