Andromeda Strain moves forward, changes networks

The names are the same, except for the channel. We first reported over two years ago that The Andromeda Strain was being prepped as a mini-series for the SCI FI Channel with Ridley and Tony Scott, David W. Zucker and Tom Thayer all involved, using a script from Robert Schenkkan. Well, it will go into production this summer with director Mikael Solomon (Salem’s Lot), and a move to the A&E Network, and possibly an increase to 6 hours. A most interesting move…
