STARTREK.COM production team spaced

I just learned this morning that the entire production team that runs the STARTREK.COM web site has been eliminated during a restructuring of CBS Interactive. No word on what will happen to the site itself – I fear it will simply turn in to a corporate advertisement for the franchise and lose all of its value as a tool.

Hmmmmmmmm, so about a week after startrek.com suggest fans join the writers on the picket line in the writers strike conflict, they are all suddenly fired?
