Kate Davids writes “Mesa – The Phoenix Comicon has added two more sci-fi guests. They are Richard LeParmentier (‘Admiral Motti’ from ‘Star Wars’) and Marjean Holden (‘Sheeva’ from ‘Mortal Kombat: Annihilation’). “Don’t mess with these people,” said Amy Black, Guest Liaison Director, “One is an Imperial Officer and the other a killing robot, so be on your best behavior!”” Read More for more details.

“The Phoenix Comicon, courtesy of Toy Anxiety (www.toyanxiety.com) is also bringing on one of the original Star Wars movies actors: Richard LeParmentier! Richard portrayed that famous Admiral Motti, the Imperial Officer who believed more in the power of his Death Star than the power of The Force. Admiral Motti and audiences around the world learned to respect the Dark Side when Darth Vader choked Admiral Motti with but a raised finger, the “most famous Darth Vader moment in all six films.”

Marjean Holden can be seen regularly on the Sci-Fi Channel re-runs in her portrayals of ‘Dr. Sarah Chambers’ on the Babylon 5 Spin-off series ‘Crusade’ and of ‘Lt. Joyce Darwin’ in the Paramount Pictures film ‘Code Red: The Rubicon Conspiracy.’ She can also be seen on sci-fi/fantasy classics ranging from HBO’s ‘Tales from the Crypt’ to the New Line Cinima movie ‘Mortal Kombat: Annihilation’ where she played the many armed fighting machine ‘Sheeva.’

“Okay, who’s not excited’ We have the famous Admiral Motti and the four-armed machine Sheeva coming in January! Really, who can keep from being excited?” said Kate Davids, Communications Director.
