Freddie Krueger getting a makeover – literally
by Doc on Apr.06, 2009, under Movies
Eventually they have to run out of things to remake as well…this time they are after Freddie Krueger. Being prepped for an April 2010 opening, the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street now has its Freddie – in the form of Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen). The original became a star vehicle for Robert Englund – who seemed to be cast against type after appearing as the ultra-meek Visitor Willie in the original V productions. In the meantime, producer Brad Fuller is talking about Freddie’s make-up on his official blog.

Sci-Fi Storm closed for April Fools’ Day

Why bother posting anything today? Most of the news is so far-fetched, you can’t tell what is real and what isn’t. And frankly, if it isn’t about who forgot the lyrics on Idol, or who got eaten by a lion on Survivor this week, who’s been fired, or what happened on C.S.I. Everywhere, you wouldn’t care. Although at least that last crop of shows have toys that qualify them to be called Science Fiction (and I’m serious about that). So rather than posting something that will make you keep asking if it is real or not, I might as well just keep my mouth shut.
Tomorrow look for my new site, Reality Storm. Starring Stephen Baldwin.
