Caprica slow out of the gate

It looks like the airing of the pilot movie of Caprica on SyFy didn’t do so well, only getting 1.6 million viewers. The article does point out (and I believe rightly so) that the DVD release 9 months ago may have had an impact…but if you have been waiting for the series, the first new episode airs this Friday.

Avatar now the largest grossing film ever

It’s official now – James Cameron has outdone himself. Avatar has officially become the largest grossing movie of all time, beating Cameron’s own Titanic which previously held the record of $1.843 billion.
