A little too late: The Event finale highest rated since November

Seems a lot of people wanted to see how it would end…the series finale of The Event apparently saw a 15% ratings increase (1.5/4), and was the highest rated episode in the 18-49 demographic since last November.

I guess it ended in a cliffhanger!?
If it is so, I hope the creators get the chance to compress the coming four seasons into, say, a four-parter, to put a resolution to the series.
