Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban — casting game
by Doc on Nov.27, 2002, under Movies
Corgi writes “The ‘casting game’ must be one of fandom’s favourite indoor sports, and
Harry Potter fandom is no exception, as the Internet almost froths with
speculation about who will portray the characters introduced in the next
HP adaptation (currently in preproduction).
One group of fans aren’t just sitting down and speculating — they’re
trying to do something about it. With a focal website
at http://www.SFF.net/people/Corgi/JasonCarter/,
fans of Babylon 5 and Harry Potter both are writing letters to the
casting director and staff of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
politely asking that Jason Carter be cast in the role of Sirius Black.”
Read More for the full details. Not sure I can picture it – I think they need someone more imposing…
