by Doc on Oct.22, 2001, under General News
From The Digital Bits Rumor Mill: “Warner is also looking at the possibility of releasing TV product on DVD in season-at-a-time sets, although no plans have been firmly set. We do, however, know that if you love Babylon 5, and would love to see more of it on DVD, then you need to get out there and buy the first Babylon 5 disc when it’s released on December 4th. The studios says that it will make future plans for the series on DVD based on the success of that release.” So, hop on over to our Babylon 5 Store and order the first DVD, In The Beginning/The Gathering today and voice your support for the whole series!!!

Well, as of Saturday, we’ll actually have made it one full year!!! I think I’ll celebrate with a nice big drink… :^) Feel free to drop a line on how things are going, what you think could improve, etc. I’ll be setting up a new “Ask Sci-Fi Storm” section, where people can ask questions about things (reasonable questions, at least) like “Does anyone remember this show?” and stuff.

More stuff added to the Sci-Fi TV Store
by Doc on Sep.17, 2001, under General News
In the quest to gather things people may not think of, I’ve added a few more things to the Sci-Fi TV Store. First up is Reboot, the pioneer CGI cartoon (season 3 only so far); Red Dwarf has also been added – you can get the entire series AND the two outtake tapes; Star Blazers first season is available on DVD, and all three seasons in three tape collections; and I’ve added a Miniseries section starting with V and Frank Herbert’s Dune. And just added: Blake’s 7. Keep checking back for even more…

Minor updates
by Doc on Sep.13, 2001, under General News
I made a correction to the setup that should now display correct times on articles, based on your time zone preference. It WAS showing about 5 hours behind.
Also, two minor store updates: With the release of Doctor Who DVDs, I’ve added a Doctor Who section to the Sci-Fi TV Store (DVDs only so far), and the Babylon 5 Store had a minor update, now including JMS-related stuff that aren’t strickly Babylon 5, as well as the cover art for the third Techno-mage book.
Update: I’ve also added “UFO” to the Sci-Fi TV store…
