by Doc on Oct.27, 2002, under Television
Gateworld is reporting that exec producer N. John Smith, while at Wolf SG-5 convention in Britain, let slip that a seventh season of Stargate SG-1 is a go, although no official announcement has been made. Also mentioned is that Richard Dean Anderson iwll appear in most of the episodes, and Michael Shanks may make one or more appearances.
Update 10/29: MGM is now denying a decision has been made. However, this is standard practice until an official announcement is made jointly by the studio and the broadcaster.

This new show focuses on MacGyver’s nephew, is being written by Sam Baum, and reunites the production team of John Rich, Henry Winkler (yes, the Fonz), and Stephen Downing.

by Doc on Oct.13, 2002, under Television
The first I heard of this was from Coming Attractions in their scoops about Star Trek: Nemesis: Apparently in the film Riker finally gets his command, and it was supposed to include a shot of the Galaxy-class U.S.S. Titan – well, apparently a new ship has now been designed instead, and possibly renamed to U.S.S. Mariner, AND may be the focal point of another series starring Riker and possibly some of the other Next Generation cast. All rumor at this point. Update: Link fixed…

Zap2It has the scoop that the ABC freshman show That Was Then, avout a 30-year old that travels back to his childhood, has been “placed on hiatus”, which I think is being kind as to their intentions – it is apprently the lowest-rated show of the season.
