Merlin preview: “With All My Heart” plus another Colin recap

by on Feb.28, 2013, under Television

Correction: Syfy is NOT airing Merlin this Friday – it will return on Friday, March 8th. Syfy has decided to hold the final five episodes off until May now…

It’s almost the weekend again, which means it’s almost time for another episode of Merlin, as we draw inevitably towards the series conclusion.

In tomorrow’s episode, Merlin knows he must act fast before Morgana’s twisted control over Gwen gets further out of hand. But only the most powerful magic can save the Queen and this will not be easy, even for Merlin. As the High Priestess tightens her grip on Camelot, one thing is clear; she will not give up her puppet without a fight.

Watch the preview below, and watch “With All My Heart” on Friday, March 8th, at 10/9c on Syfy! And don’t forget to watch Colin Morgan’s recap of last week’s episode, “A Hollow Queen”, as well below!

Tennant doesn’t believe “anything’s going to happen” for Doctor Who 50th?

by on Feb.26, 2013, under Television

I really don’t know what to believe any more. There are constant rumors about a special 50th Anniversary episode of Doctor Who featuring at least some of not all of the previous Doctors, but the BBC has not confirmed any such thing – only the making-of docudrama An Adventure in Space and Time. And even though we’ve gotten denials by those supposedly involved, we also got nods and winks too…but either nothing really is happening, or it’s the greatest conspiracy concocted to hide a TV show.

The latest is a quote attributed to David Tennant on Timeout.com. It’s not much, but in reference to the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, they quote Tennant as “beginning to give up hope that anything’s going to happen.” It isn’t clear if he’s referring to his participation, or the show in general. But it’s hard to imagine an anniversary show that wouldn’t include other Doctors – and especially Tennant.

Let’s just go with the conspiracy theory, and Tennant is just a spokesman. 🙂
