by Doc on Jul.25, 2011, under Television
Syfy’s hit series Eureka gets an animated makeover this December for a special holiday themed episode, proving that indeed anything is possible in the town of Eureka. In the first-of-its-kind episode, the quaint town of geniuses will be transformed into animated versions of themselves. The stand-alone holiday episode will also feature a stellar line up of guest stars lending their voices to a variety of characters – Jim Parsons (Big Bang Theory), Chris Parnell (Saturday Night Live), Matt Frewer (returning as Taggart) and Edward James Olmos (Battlestar Galactica). Warner Bros puts Arthur & Lancelot on the really fast track
by Doc on Jul.25, 2011, under Movies
Well, we might not be longing for more Camelot adventures of a sort for long. Warner Bros, which scooped up the spec script for Arthur & Lancelot from writer/director David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers) in a bidding war last month, has already set a release date of March 15, 2013 and set the budget at $90 million. It is a contemporary re-imagining of the story, with Dobkin set to direct and produce, and Lionel Wigram with Jeff Kleeman exec producing.
This apparently also put the brakes on two other Arthur-based projects in development at WB, including an Excalibur remake,.

by Doc on Jul.21, 2011, under Movies
So it appears that Superman CAN be stopped…or at least delayed. Warner Bros has pulled The Man Of Steel, the franchise reboot starring Henry Cavill, from its late 2012 release to June 14th, 2013. Some think it is due to the ongoing rights dispute between DC Comics and the estates of creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, but there was another rock of kryptonite nearby…the release of part 1 of The Hobbit.
