Zap2It has the scoop that the ABC freshman show That Was Then, avout a 30-year old that travels back to his childhood, has been “placed on hiatus”, which I think is being kind as to their intentions – it is apprently the lowest-rated show of the season.

Request for Reviewers

by on Oct.07, 2002, under General News

Watch a show religiously? Able to put your thoughts on paper (or online)? I’m looking to try and start some regular reviews of shows and films, if people are interested. Obviously I don’t have the time to do them all myself – I’m still trying to figure out how to watch everything I want, despite my recently-expanded TiVo. It’s hard to watch Enterprise when my two-year-old wants to watch Rolie Polie Olie

He’s met with George Lucas regarding his death, but George doesn’t know just how it will happen yet. However, we’re told he is the most important person to die in the upcoming film – not much of a spoiler, since we know who has to live to be in A New Hope

Nick Pollotta writes
A comedy group? But “The Gunderson Corporation” sounds like a ruthless mega-conglomerate out to rule the world! The Core delayed until next year

by on Oct.02, 2002, under Movies

Variety is reporting that Paramount has pushed back the release date for the deep-Earth adventure The Core, starring Hillary Swank, until sometime in the first quarter of 2003 from the original November 5th date. Reportedly it is to give more post-production time, but with such a genre-heavy end to the year (Harry Potter, Nov. 15th; Solaris, Nov. 27th; Star Trek: Nemesis, Dec. 13th; The Two Towers, Dec. 18th) I’m really not surprised.
