by on Jun.11, 2001, under Audio

We’ll be getting new Who soon – July 13th as a matter of fact – but in the form of a
30-minute audio episode on the BBC web site. Death Comes To Time, a radio pilot apparently rejected by Radio 4, features Sylvester McCoy as the doctor, accompanied by Ace (Sophie Aldred), and will also feature Stephen Fry (some of the Blackadder series), John Sessions, and Jacqueline Pearce (Servalan from Blake’s 7).

New B5 Encyclopedia finally online

by on Jun.02, 2001, under General News

I have finally gotten all the info re-entered into the new engine for the Babylon 5 Encyclopedia and put it online. For the most part it looks the same, but there is now a search engine, and a lot of stuff has been cleaned up. It is all PHP and database driven now, making it MUCH easier to update and change the look and feel. Crusade data should be leaking in shortly…

Blake’s 7 revival????

by on May.31, 2001, under Television

First, they were talking about new Who…now Blake’s 7??? According to Dark Horizons (search for it on the page), BBC top exec Andrew Sewell was recently at a convention and mentioned plans to revive it with a TV movie, set 20 years after the events of the ’70s series. The script is in its second draft and no one is attached, but it does mention that the only character to return would be Avon, played by Paul Darrow in the original. Personally, I’d like to see an updated version of the original plot, but definitely get Peter Tuddenham back as the voice of Zen.
