Solar Sail test craft damaged

Our first entry in the Science Fact Dept.: CNN.com is reporting that a Solar Sail test craft being tested in Russia has been damaged. It seems that during an electrical systems test, the craft began “normal” operations, which included the firing of the explosive bolts on several latches.

Sci-Fi Wire was informed by Nicole deBoer (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Cube) has landed the lead role opposite Anthony Michael Hall (Weird Science, Pirates of Silicon Valley) in the upcoming UPN series The Dead Zone, based on the Stephen King novel.
The Rock as Duke Nukem???

Coming Attractions has confirmed a previously-posted rumor that WWF wrestler The Rock (a.k.a. Dwayne Johnson) has been offered the title role in Duke Nukem. No idea if he’ll take it yet. It’s not as far fetched as you might think: he will be making his big-screen debut in The Mummy Returns next month as the Scorpion King, and the sequel to that, called The Scorpion King, has been greenlighted.
