Being Human‘s Sam Huntington to guest star on Warehouse 13
by Doc on Mar.12, 2012, under Television
I started hearing about this on the weekend, but finally got official word: Being Human‘s resident werewolf, Sam Huntington, will guest on an episode of Warehouse 13 in the upcoming season as a jazz musician named Ethan. Warehouse 13‘s 4th season is currently in production in Toronto, Canada.
Said Warehouse 13 executive producer Jack Kenny: “We love bringing other Syfy icons on to Warehouse 13… There’s something they just “get” about the genre. People like Kate Mulgrew, Lindsay Wagner, Jaime Murray and Rene Auberjonois know that delicate balance we play between humor, drama and action. And Sam Huntington is a natural fit for us. Funny, charming, smart and compelling, he plays ‘Ethan’ — a young jazz musician, desperate to leave his mark on the world of New Orleans jazz — even if it means a great sacrifice.”
Sam’s natural wittiness should be a good fit for the Warehouse 13 style.

A UK/US Being Human crossover? New UK vampire thinks so
by Doc on Feb.23, 2012, under Television
I wouldn’t bet on it happening, but new new vampire on the U.K. version of Being Human, Damien Molony (who plays Hal, replacing Aidan Turner’s Mitchell who departed last season), thinks the idea of the cast of the two productions of Being Human meeting would be “hilarious”, according to an interview with MTV.
“I’ve never seen the American version, but I know certainly from the online stuff that its doing incredibly well,” Molony said. “It’s great for Being Human fans, that they get to watch a great UK show, and a great US version, it’s brilliant. But I think it would hilarious to see one episode where the UK people go on holiday to America, or vice versa, and suddenly we have to break bread with each other.”
Although not likely to happen, if it did, there is the question of who from the U.K. show would be available to do it. Turner as mentioned above has already left, with Molony as the fresh face. Russell Tovey (the werewolf George) has announced his departure at he end of this season, leaving Lenora Crichlow (the ghost Annie) as the remaining original cast member. ith such cast turnover, would there be enough appeal?
