Follow Sci-Fi Storm on Twitter and Facebook
by Doc on Oct.03, 2010, under Sci-Fi Storm
Ok, I’ve got all the hookups seemingly working (I’m thinking of working a somewhat different interface for Facebook though), and Sci-Fi Storm is now on both Twitter and Facebook! Follow us @scifistorm on Twitter, and/or Facebook (I hope to shorten that URL later, but need followers). Our headlines with links will appear there, as well as other quips, notes, reminders, etc.
But there is a special bonus – I will be down at Universal Studios Orlando next Sunday and Monday for a SyFy press event, and I will be posting updates, pictures and maybe even a video or two via those channels (the pics and video may be Facebook only, not sure) of the panels, as well as the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and maybe a bit of the RIP Tour of Halloween Horror Nights! It all depends on the batteries…so follow us on both, and keep an eye out for special updates on Sunday and Monday!
More Harry Potter?
by Doc on Oct.01, 2010, under Books
Could there be more Harry Potter books in the future? To no one’s surprise, J.K. Rowling said it’s a possibility. On the Oprah Winfrey show aired earlier today she said, “”I could definitely write an eighth, ninth, tenth” book. She isn’t sure though. “I don’t think I will … I feel I am done, but you never know.” It sounds as if she might have the ideas for three more books, but really isn’t ready to revisit the former boy wizard – yet.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows likely in 3D
by Doc on Jan.27, 2010, under Movies
With reports of Warner Bros. being quite happy with the 3D conversion results for the upcoming Clash Of The Titans, it appears that they will release both parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will the 3D conversion. We may be seeing the end of 2D movies. The article author should check his facts though – Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix also had some footage in 3D, albeit less than Half-Blood Prince.
