A talk with Warehouse 13‘s Eddie McClintock and Saul Rubinek
by Doc on Jul.22, 2012, under Television
I had a chance to take part in a con-call with Warehouse 13 stars Eddie McClintock (Pete Lattimer) and Saul Rubinek (Artie Nielsen), answering questions about the upcoming fourth season that starts tomorrow night on Syfy at 9/8c. And it’s always fun to talk with them…they truly enjoy what they do and they have fun doing it.
With the producers being very spoiler-conscious, it was difficult for them to talk about anything specific about the upcoming season, although I did ask my typical [and, alas, only as there were many on the call] question – were there any episodes in the upcoming season as being important to themselves or their characters?

Jaime Murray believes Warehouse 13 spinoff can still happen with Defiance
by Doc on Jul.13, 2012, under Television
I may not be at San Diego Comic-Con (did I mention that?), but I know many of the press who are: Michael Hinman at Airlock Alpha has a nice article about Jaime Murray, who played H.G. Wells on Warehouse 13 and will star in the highly-anticipated Syfy series Defiance, and the fact that if Syfy still wanted to move forward with a possible Warehouse 13 spinoff based on her character, she believes it would still be possible to work both series.

Brent Spiner to do multiple episodes of Warehouse 13
by Doc on Jun.14, 2012, under Television
Brent Spiner, best known for his role as Data in Star Trek: The Next Generation, will join the cast of Warehouse 13 for at least 6 episodes in the upcoming season.
Spiner will play Brother Adrian, leader of a top-secret sect known as the Brotherhood of the Knights of the Black Diamond, descendents of the Knights Templar, and they protect ancient artifacts. One of which Artie (Saul Rubinek) needs to put everyone’s life back in order.
This actually reunites Spiner and Rubinek – they appeared together in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “The Most Toys”, where Rubinek guest starred Kivas Fajo, a trader and a collector of rare “artifacts” – and Spiner’s Data is one of the rarest of all…

Being Human‘s Sam Huntington to guest star on Warehouse 13
by Doc on Mar.12, 2012, under Television
I started hearing about this on the weekend, but finally got official word: Being Human‘s resident werewolf, Sam Huntington, will guest on an episode of Warehouse 13 in the upcoming season as a jazz musician named Ethan. Warehouse 13‘s 4th season is currently in production in Toronto, Canada.
Said Warehouse 13 executive producer Jack Kenny: “We love bringing other Syfy icons on to Warehouse 13… There’s something they just “get” about the genre. People like Kate Mulgrew, Lindsay Wagner, Jaime Murray and Rene Auberjonois know that delicate balance we play between humor, drama and action. And Sam Huntington is a natural fit for us. Funny, charming, smart and compelling, he plays ‘Ethan’ — a young jazz musician, desperate to leave his mark on the world of New Orleans jazz — even if it means a great sacrifice.”
Sam’s natural wittiness should be a good fit for the Warehouse 13 style.

Syfy has ordered 7 more episodes of hit series Warehouse 13 to give the upcoming 4th season a total of 20 episodes.
