Will Anthony Head make make Warehouse 13 his own?
Anthony Head (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Merlin) turns the tables on the Warehouse team with his deadly mastery of artifacts – leading to a shattering confrontation – when he guest stars as the Machiavellian alchemist Paracelsus on Syfy’s popular series Warehouse 13.
Head’s three-episode story arc begins Monday, June 24 at 10PM (ET/PT), culminating in the Season 4.5 finale on July 8.
In the episode, “Lost and Found,” Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) and Steve (Aaron Ashmore) get an intruder alert, which leads them to the shocking reveal that Paracelsus (Anthony Head) is alive and in the Warehouse. Meanwhile, Pete (Eddie McClintock), Myka (Joanne Kelly) and Artie (Saul Rubinek) hunt down artifacts stolen by pirates centuries ago. To find the cache, they team up with the mysterious Charlotte Dupres (Polly Walker) whose agenda puts all their lives in danger.
In the next Warehosue 13, Pete and Myka go undercover in the suburbs, while Claudia and Artie must help a young savant. Guest stars: Polly Walker, Cynthia Watros, Kelly Hu, Chris Ellis and Josh Blaylock. Catch the preview below and then tune in Monday at 10/9c on Syfy for “What Matters Most”. The Warehouse doors will open one last time. Well, 6 times.
Production on the 5th and final season of Warehouse 13, for 6 episodes, begins June 24th, with the episodes to air in 2014.
Warehouse 13 showrunner and executive producer Jack Kenny said, “Warehouse 13 has been my dream job these past four years. These last six episodes will be a gift from my brilliant writing staff and the best cast and crew in television to our amazingly loyal fans. I’m thrilled that we can build the climax of our Warehouse tale to a satisfying conclusion.”
Season 4 of Warehouse 13 is currently airing Mondays at 10PM (ET/PT) following the new hit series Defiance, which airs at 9PM.
I know I have some Jaime Murray fans on here, and if the Warehouse 13 preview elicited a few squees, this short preview showing her in both Defiance and Warehouse 13 on Monday should drive you crazy…as they say, Jaime Murray looks good in anything… 🙂
In next Monday’s new Warehouse 13 episode, “Instinct”, H.G. Wells re-enters the picture to help Pete and Myka with an artifact that’s forcing confessions out of criminals. Meanwhile, the rest of the team deals with earthquakes INSIDE the Warehouse.
Don’t forget to tune in Monday at 10/9c on Syfy!
On tomorrow’s Warehouse 13, Pete and Myka head to Vegas to investigate murders that are tied to the world of high magic. Meanwhile, Claudia and Jinks search for an artifact used to rig horse races, while Artie meets the new B&B owner, Abigail Cho (Kelly Hu). Guest stars Joel Grey, Polly Walker, Nora Zehetner, & Steve Valentine.
Tune in at 10/9c on Syfy, and don’t forget to check out the clips below with the best lines from “The Big Snag”:
Word began to spread that Warehouse 13 must have been renewed when a union web site listed under their “Current Productions” “Warehouse 13 (final)”, with production dates of June 24th-Aug 20th, at the studio location in Toronto – but what was interesting is that isn’t enough time for even a 13 episode season.
Now it appears that Syfy has renewed it for a final season of only six episodes, according to Deadline [Doc: This is confirmed now – see below]. This is better than nothing, of course, and as far as it being the final season, it’s not surprising given the show’s apparent bubble status. At least we should get a good wrap up.
But I can’t help but think about what happened with Eureka, where an apparent 6th and final season of six episodes was planned, and then canceled…
Update 5/17: Syfy has confirmed the order for 6 episodes for a final season to air in 2014. From the press release:
Abracadabra! Oscar and Tony Award-winning legendary actor Joel Grey (Cabaret) conjures up mayhem on Syfy’s Warehouse 13 when he guest stars on the Monday, May 20 episode, premiering at 10PM (ET/PT).
In “The Sky’s the Limit,” Grey plays Las Vegas lounge act magician Monty the Magnificent, who’s worked the strip for decades. When his casino employers think Monty’s act is getting stale, Monty enlists the help of a powerful artifact that turn his parlor tricks into wondrous, but deadly feats.
Also guest starring in the May 20 episode are Steve Valentine (Crossing Jordan) as Val Preston, a headliner who’s in desperate need of something new to spice up his own act, and Kelly Hu (X-Men), who plays Abigail Cho, a protégé of Mrs. Frederic (CCH Pounder).
On Monday’s Warehouse 13, Pete and Myka get sucked into a 1940s detective noir novel in search of an artifact. Meanwhile, Artie, Steve and Claudia chase down a phantom car thief. “The Big Snag” features guest stars Enrico Colantoni and Missi Pyle, who previously starred together as the aliens Mathesar and Laliari in the movie Galaxy Quest.
Tune in at 10/9c on Syfy after Defiance!
