Russell T. Davies, has has been rumored, will step down as producer of Doctor Who, and writer Steven Moffat, who has written some of the best (and scariest) episodes, will take charge. This season he’s penned the two parter “Silence In The Library/Forest Of The Dead”, which is next up in the U.K. (although there is a week’s break this coming weekend due to the Eurovision Song Contest) and stars Alex Kingston, who U.S. viewers might recognize as Dr. Elizabeth Corday on ER. Moffat has been racking up BAFTA awards, having just received another one for the episode “Blink”, and also just completed the first screenplay for Tintin (based on a Belgian comic-strip hero), which Steven Spielberg will turn into a Dreamworks film.
