Avatar on Blu-ray and DVD April 22nd

In a surprise move (given the possibility of a re-release), blockbuster Avatar may be poised to break more records soon as it sees both a [sfs=1009]Blu-ray[/sfs] and [sfs=1010]DVD[/sfs] release on April 22nd, 2010. Follow those links and pre-order now!!!

Hmmm… I wonder if they’re going to re-release the DVD in 3-D, at a future date. There’s a Blu-ray 3-D spec now, and sometime in the next year or so we should see discs, players, and TVs that support it.
