Stargate Universe canceled
by Doc on Dec.16, 2010, under Television
Shock is raging across the galaxies as Syfy has canceled Stargate Universe, which just broke out on Twitter via Deadline.com and was confirmed by Syfy. The Twitterverse is going to burn down, methinks…I was liking SGU more and more this season. The final 10 episodes will still be aired next Spring. Given no announcement of another Stargate series, this will end an 8 year unbroken run of Stargate on Syfy, and THIRTEEN years since the debut of Stargate SG-1 on Showtime.

Oh wow. The actors/actresses didn’t even know it had been canceled, a few of them found out via twitter when fans mentioned it.

So….angry like CBoudreau13 said. First SyFy cans SG-1, and now SG-U. Why not cancel something like fracking wrestling that has nothing to do with the Sci-Fi genre. I’m going to miss Caprica and now SG-U. It was actually getting decent. 🙁

Won’t be missed in this house. But neither will the rest of the Stargate shows. I enjoyed the original film though. Hopefully it will be replaced with something better…
