Duck Dodgers to return!!!

This is the best news I’ve heard in a long time.
Warner Brothers is producing a new series of Looney Tunes shorts – including one with Duck Dodgers in Attack of the Drones, which will spoof many recent SF movies. It’s all to build up for the live action/animated feature Looney Tunes: Back in Action.

gah! If the animation/voiceovers are anything like the loonytoon “movies” that have creeped up now and then since the 70s/80s I’m going to be sorely disappointed. Why was the quality of animation and cartooning so much better back in the earlier Mel Blanc years? Is it just cost cutting or lack of talent now?
